I bought this book in order to fix up a diesel truck, and I had to open the wrapping just to learn that diesels aren’t covered. Besides that, the book is good, a bit dry to read maybe, but the procedures are well explained. It’s not a book you take with you to read in bed, if you’re not EXTREMELY interested.

The manual was very helpful, however when using the index the page numbering was incorrect. The places that I noteced were incorrect did bring you withing 2-3 pages of the correct spot, so if you have a fairly reasonable idea of what’s going on you won’t get too confused.

I purchased this book recently and had to return it. The description here does not quite match the one on the cover. None of the S-10 models are covered by this book.

The book seems well laid out and covers a good range of operations. But it does not cover all the models you might think. Suburbans are covered starting in 1992, and the Jimmy/Blazer only 1992-1995. Diesels are not covered at all. Since I have a 1990 diesel Suburban, I had to return the book.
